Hummingbirdies

I don't have too much to say on these ones. They are the second pair I made, and were a bit of a challenge. Again finished with clear nail polish and anti-shine matte varnish. I used some marbled patterned paper which wasn't of the highest quality, which gave me some difficulty during folding. The main issue with the paper is that it begins to fray (again I feel I don't quite have the right word for it, but the thing that happens when you crease the paper, and you can see the fibers starting to tear at the crease, the paper being weaker and not holding the crease as well. On patterned paper like this, you can see the whiteness underneath the pattern). The wire was also a challenge. It is glued onto the paper sequestered away in the middle of the model. Getting a solid adherance was quite tricky. A different approach for similar models in the future would be wise lol. They are pretty still, and I think they deserve a little reworking. Perhaps to be a gift to someone?

They were another experiment in the development of my technique :3
